Our Beliefs

  • We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, absolute in its authority, complete in its revelation, final in its content, and without any error in its teachings. (2 Timothy 3:16)
  • We believe that every individual has worth as one created in the image of God, but that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:10, 23)
  • We believe that Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God, born of a virgin, died for our sins, rose from the dead and is coming again. (1 Corinthians 15:1-8)
  • We believe that forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life are available only through Jesus Christ. (John 1:29, Acts 4:12)
  • We believe that those seeking forgiveness of sin and the promise of eternal life must, based on their belief that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, repent of sin, confess their faith and be immersed into Jesus Christ. (Romans 10:9, Acts 2:38, Galatians 3:26-27, 1 Peter 3:21)
  • We believe that the Church is the body of Christ on earth which exists to reach the lost and edify the saved. (Ephesians 4:1-16)
    • We believe that members of the Church are to use their gifts to help the Body of Christ function. (Romans 12:4-5)
    • We believe that Christians are to try to influence others to become followers of Jesus. (Matthew 5:16, Matthew 28:19-20)
    • We believe that Jesus Christ will one day return to earth and reign forever as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
